KSL belongs to Rs 2.4 Billion Kalyani Group, having interests in Forging, Automotive break system, Wheel rims, Consumer Electronics and Industrial heat processing systems apart form Carbon, alloys and special steels.
Located in Karnataka, Southern India on sprawling 375 acres of land, manufacturing facilities consist of Mini Blast Furnace, Energy Optimization furnace, Ladle Refining Furnace and Vacuum Degassing. Bloom-cum-round caster and a Billet Caster and rolling Mill follow these facilities.
Computerised controls at various stages in steel making ensure consistent product quality. Use of liquid metal gives low levels of tramp elements resulting into clean steel for various critical applications in automotive, engineering industries.
