I am a local Romanian watermelon
producer. I am primarily using selected
seeds like Varda F1, Crimson Crimson
Colorado, Crimson Sweet, but also other
selected seeds. I am cultivating annually a
surface between 4 and 20 hectares, with
an average production of 40-45 tones per
hectare. I am using some of the latest
technologies in this field, and the fruit is
not treated with chemicals. The production
can be sold from the middle of July up to
the middle of September.
