| Substrate Technologies, Ltd. has developed a closed system which performs three important functions for substrate growers: sterilization of the substrate, constant pH control of the irrigation water and disinfection of recycled drainage water. This is the only system which combines these tasks.
The system is based on patented technology which uses the electrochemical treatment of water to implement the functions above. The electrolyzed water circulates through the irrigation system, and applied directly to the substrate. No changes need to be made to the greenhouse or nursery infrastructure to accommodate the system. Planting can be done immediately after sterilization. |
