Trade Lead Description:
Description:
High-Affinity Ni-IDA Resin (Cat. No. RG00223, 50 ml of 50% slurry) is an agarose resin (4% cross-linked) covalently coupled to a tridentate chelating agent (iminodiacetic acid, called IDA) that binds Ni2+ ions at three coordination sites, It is particularly useful for the high-affinity purification of 6xHis-tagged recombinant proteins from any recombinant expression system, including bacterial, yeast, insect cell, and mammalian cells. These His-tagged recombinant proteins can be purified under either native or denaturing conditions. Proteins bound to the resin are then eluted with either low-pH buffer or imidazole solution or even with histidine solution. Key Features: • High binding capacity
• Simple purification
• Broad pH stability
• Resilient
Applications:
1. Purification of polyhistidine-tagged proteins under native conditions. 2. Purification of polyhistidine-tagged proteins from E. coli under denaturing conditions.
