This variety is a cross breed of 'Red Delicious' and 'Ralls Janet'.
Fuji' Apples of Japanese origin are much more than just an apple, but, a creation of excellence.
They are adoring and pre-eminent. They are immensely flavorful, sweet, juicy, and crispy. Their firm pulpy texture make them a wonderful choice for just plain eating as fruit and also are excellent for baking and salads,...using as ingredient in bread, cake, ice creams, pies, sauces etc.
"Fuji" Apples' appearance generally is bright red with some yellowish touch & other variations in color.
Early winter, snowfall and cold wind, and not-too-hot day/sunlight draw beautiful colors in apples, like...deep red & deep reddish-pink thanks to the climate.
Fruit's flesh-color is 'light creamy'.
Shapes are almost round.
Most wonder and specialty of Fuji Apple of Japanese origin is, they hold ‘natural honey’ in the middle portion of the fruit.
'Fuji' Apples are harvested from middle to end of November.

Fuji Apple keep longer than most other varieties, and their ‘shelf life’ could be enhanced up to 6 ~ 8 months retaining their every aforesaid attributes, if stored well packed at +5° C temperature with great care.
