PRECISION AC VOLTAGE AND CURRENT CALIBRATOR RESOURCE - K2

Resource - K2 a.c. precision Calibrator has been designed to produce a comprehensive array of electrical power signal types to a high degree of accuracy, inclusive of the main factors of electric energy, such as multiharmonics voltage and current, sags, swells, flicker, power and energy characteristics of three- and single-phase a.c current of 50 Hz nominal frequency.
Application: calibration, verification, tuning and adjustment in production and maintenance of instruments designed to measure one- and three-phase voltage and current systems (electric power quality meters; electric power counters, AC multimeters).
The calibrator consists of two units, - control computer and signal generator, - and have three individual channels to represent phase voltages and three individual channels to represent phase current.
Setting of acting voltage and current, phase angle, and voltage and current signal harmonics is provided by special software which works under Microsoft Windows 2000/XP operation system. All required parameters: voltage and current curve ratio distortion, zero and reverse sequence asymmetry ratios, 1…40 - harmonics of voltage- and current ratios are estimated against set values, and other performances, - are estimated to set values. Set signals are transformed into an analogue form and amplified by the signal generating unit.
The calibrator is mains-powered (220 V, 50 Hz).
The calibrator output voltage is in two ranges. The first range (Range 1U) represents phase/inter-phase acting nominal voltage of 220/ (220·√3) V. The other (Range 2U) represents phase/inter-phase acting nominal voltage of (100/√3) /100 V.
The calibrator output current is in two ranges. The first range (Range 1I) represents 5A acting nominal current. The other (Range 2I) represents 1A acting nominal current.
