Our main concern would be to establish long-term agreement for supplying us with our needs of such material. Needless to say, the underlying principle of such relationship would be trust, reliability, and arranging the supply in timely fashion.
In our attempt to coordinate our corporate strategy with our consumption needs, we are now applying JIT principle (Just-In-Time) supply fashion that should keep carrying inventory cost at minimum. However, such operating method requires great deal of efficiency and cooperation and also common understanding ground. Of course you are fully aware that any interruption in the flow of the material required or stock outs would shut down an operation and be extremely costly in terms of lost production, escalation of operating costs due to fixed costs, and inability to satisfy delivery promises.
