Pakistan Afghanistan transit trade is though existing since 1885, however it was regulated on april, 02, 1965 through an agreement between the two governments. This agreement created new dimension in the local business, known as cross border logistics provision to Afghan importers via transit route of Pakistan, from all over the world. Mostly illitrate people from NWFP started this business, with main aims of earning and not diversifying this issue in the changing world scenario. After the events unfolding from 9/11 incidents and war against terror, a need was felt to have reliable people, who could provide and understand the sequence of this service. This business involved occean leg, customs issues at sea ports of Pakistan, arranging Land transport and movement to Afghan border, custom clearance on both sides of the Pak - Afghan border and finally delievery at destination.
